The Partnerships and Communications Associate Manager will develop new partnerships and lead communications activities to advance Densu Associates’ strategic plan. As part of the Partnerships, Innovations and Communication team, You would lead the design and delivery of a partnership development and communications plan for the organisation. This position is for a creative and proactive individual with excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills. They will also have experience managing team members and service providers. You’ll also be a passionate individual who aligns with Densu Associates’ values and is comfortable working collaboratively across teams, with external stakeholders and young people. This position lies within the Partnerships, Innovation and Communications Team and reports to the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a partnership development plan and track the implementation of the plan and funding pipelines

• Develop partnerships with NGOs, Networks and Associations to advance collaborations, advocacy and thought leadership

• Identify and develop partnerships with the private sector (particularly financial institutions), donor agencies, and funding partners to generate funding opportunities to advance our work and support our clients

• Develop partnerships with relevant national government ministries, agencies and bodies for collaboration and policy development

• Identify potential marketing opportunities, tradeshows and fairs

• Develop partnerships with media, communication agencies and service providers to support communications and advocacy activities to advance our strategic plan

• Lead/support the development of proposals for partnerships and new projects

• Lead the development of an annual communication plan

• Lead the implementation of communications activities within the annual communications workplan

• Lead the management of the organization's social media, website and media presence

• Review and keep the organisation's brand guidelines and brand assets up to date

• Identify opportunities and platforms such as high-level events, conferences, radio and TV programs, newspapers, magazines, and social media opportunities to advance thought leadership and share information about the organisation's work.

• Lead/ support the organisation's events by developing event concepts, identifying attendees, and handling media outreach before and after.

• Work closely with the programs, research and learning teams to develop impact stories, learning and policy briefs to share with external audiences

• Develop written communication pieces such as annual reports, policy papers, speeches, newsletters, organisational briefs, impact stories etc

• Work closely with other team members to identify communication and partnership-building opportunities

• Any other duties as defined by the line manager

Qualification and Skills
Essential

 Advanced degree in communication, public relations, social science, management etc

 At least 10 years of work experience with 5 years at the management level

 Experience using editing and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Microsoft Publisher etc

 Excellent and professional oral and written communication skills

 Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills

 Demonstrated exceptional creativity and consistently generating innovative ideas and solutions

The Finance Officer will assist in timely recording of financial transactions, high-quality reconciliations, reliable financial reporting, and compliance with financial policies, particularly for donor-funded projects. This role may require out of station travels as and when the need arises to support programs implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions, including Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).

The Digital Communications and Technology Officer will be responsible for creating, engaging online content and using digital communications channels for raising our profile, communicating our work and developing our digital identity. As a Digital Communications and Technology Officer, you will also support our digital transformation and use of digital tools by the Densu Team to improve efficiency and effectiveness across our programs and our work. You will use data and user research/analysis to measure the performance of our content and technology adoption rates to see how we can improve.

2. Create engaging and effective online content that meets user needs and keeps them up- to-date on projects ,initiatives and represents the organization's work and brand.
